David Marshall, our vice president of sustainability governance and reporting, was recently appointed to Canada’s Sustainable Development Advisory Council as one of two representatives of business organizations on the 18-member council. Members of the council advise the Minister of the Environment, Climate Change and Nature on sustainable development topics. "David’s selection is a meaningful recognition of his expertise in sustainability governance and reporting, as well as his strong track record in advancing transparent and rigorous practices at Domtar. His perspective will be valuable in contributing to the dialogue around Canada’s Federal Sustainable Development Strategy in collaboration with other leaders shaping the broader sustainability agenda," says Sabrina de Branco, Domtar's global chief sustainability officer. David Marshall, notre vice‑président, gouvernance et reddition de comptes en matière de durabilité, a été nommé au Conseil consultatif sur le développement durable du Canada à titre de l’un des deux représentants des organisations d’affaires au sein de ce conseil composé de 18 membres.
