GCF, along with the EBRD, will lend USD 100 million to Red Sea Wind Energy for the construction of a new wind farm in the Gulf of Suez area. It will be the largest wind farm in Africa to date, expected to reduce CO2 emissions by around one million tonnes per year. In other features, Forbes mentioned GCF's FP189 e-mobility project in Latin America and the Caribbean, highlighting the value of partnerships in the region's transition to electric vehicles. |
