The plan outlines a commitment to enhancing standards and regulations related to urban eco-environmental protection. The standard formulation should speed up in fields such as urban ecosystem monitoring, urban ecological restoration, biocapacity assessment, biodiversity protection, and the coordinated reduction of pollutants and carbon emissions. Technical standards and management regulations will be established to assess the effectiveness of urban eco-environmental management. Efforts will be made to refine standards and specifications for comprehensive solid waste utilisation, further standardise urban low-carbon digitalisation, and establish evaluation systems on industries' green endeavours to promote carbon emissions peaking and carbon neutrality in cities.
